What stays with a licensed electrician
Service, panel, dedicated circuits, EV chargers, generators, and permitted electrical stay with a licensed electrician on a North Shore house. That is inspected work in Northbrook, Winnetka, Glencoe, and the neighboring villages. A handyman does not open your panel. We will tell you which it is before anyone starts.
What is handyman work here
Handyman work is the list on the fridge — hanging, installing, removing, and the small fixes a house always needs. TVs, shelves, doors, hardware, blinds, grab bars. If the job is actually a panel, a charger, or a remodel, we say so. Same Northbrook crew either way.

Chargers, panels, and generators
When the job is a charger, a panel, or a generator, a licensed electrician looks at it first. ICC Certified EV Charging Installer, ChargePoint Certified, Generac Certified. The charger waits on the panel. The generator waits on the transfer switch and the permit. That is not a weekend install.
Remodeling stays in-house
Kitchens and baths run with the same crew on electrical, plumbing, tile, and finish. You are not scheduling a cabinet installer, then hoping an electrician shows up for the range circuit. Occupied North Shore houses. One shop from the first look to the last wipe-down.

Hours
Call anytime, including Saturday and Sunday. The crew comes out Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm. Emergency plumbing does not wait for Monday. Request a visit if you want us to look before we put a number on the work.

- When do I need a licensed electrician instead of a handyman?
- When the work is the service, the panel, a dedicated EV circuit, a generator, or anything the village inspects. Hanging a fixture on an existing box can be the list on the fridge. We will tell you which it is.
- Do you do handyman work if you are a licensed electrician?
- Yes. The list on the fridge is real work. We do it because the same shop already knows the house — not because we treat electrical work as unlicensed repair.
- Who actually does the electrical work?
- A licensed electrician. Michael is a licensed electrician and a licensed general contractor. Panel, EV, and generator work is not handed to a handyman.
